Welcome to Salter Point Sea Scout Group!
Scouts is a worldwide youth movement aimed at developing well-rounded young people including outdoor adventure, personal growth, community involvement and creative skills. In all sections the youth members work together in small groups and learn new skills as well as teaching each other. There is a focus on having youth members help lead the program in some way regardless of age.
Salter Point Sea Scout Group is located in the Beeloo District of Scouts WA.
Youth members meet in sections, which are grouped together based on age. We have all five sections of the Scouts Australia youth program meeting at Salter Point:
- Joey Scouts (6-7 years), who meet on Tuesday from 5 to 6:15 pm
- Cub Scouts (8-10 years), who meet on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 pm
- Scouts (11-14 years), who meet on Monday from 7 to 9 pm
- Venturer Scouts (15-18 years), who meet on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm
- Rover Scouts (18-25 years), who meet on Thursday evenings
New members are welcome to join at any time of the year.
